Emily Jacobs (Beverly Hills, MI) is a board-certified advanced practice nurse and a certified Integrative Nurse Coach. She has been a peer coach with VITAL WorkLife since 2021. Emily received her Master of Science in Nursing Adult Critical Care Clinical Nursing Specialist from the University of Colorado and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently the Director of Education-Leadership of Corporate Nursing Orientation at Beaumont Health Service Center in Southfield, Michigan.
With over 20 years as a Critical Care nurse and 15 years as a coach and mentor, Emily is a clinical expert dedicated to staff professional development, holistic nursing, interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical program development, competency development, and an advocate for research and evidence-based nursing practice.
