Shelly Tappe brings more than 14 years of executive healthcare leadership, clinical operations, and organizational strategy experience to VITAL WorkLife. Her diverse background spans healthcare administration, occupational health, and business development, with a deep focus on strengthening organizational performance and supporting workforce well-being.
Prior to joining VITAL WorkLife, Shelly served as a Chief Operating Officer, where she oversaw clinical and administrative operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance. Throughout her career, she has led multidisciplinary teams, advanced patient safety initiatives, and implemented strategic improvements designed to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Shelly also brings extensive experience in occupational health and employer healthcare solutions, partnering with organizations to develop innovative care models and improve employee access to quality healthcare. She is passionate about fostering collaborative workplace cultures, empowering teams, and creating sustainable solutions that support both employees and organizations.
Shelly holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Community and Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
